This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I want to talk here about an issue I've been having for some time. I'm tired of 'you are not allowed to use my stock outside deviantart'.
Lately, Facebook has become my main promoting website, since I don't receive so much feedback in here. Part of that is my own fault, I don't have time myself to give feedback, fave, comment. On the other hand I think this all group thingy has become something not so helpful. For example I see ALL the group posts but miss the posts from my friends or the people I watch.
You now have to publish your work in as many groups as possible to get seen. I've seen people who put their work in over 100 groups! that's insane, I don't even have time to do that.
Therefore, I need to publish my work on my facebook Fanpage. I don't sell it or anything, but some of the stock providers have insane rules. For example, you can't use my small flower or my little rock in your photomanipulation outside deviantART, because I sad so! No matter its poor quality and no matter no one can see it in your work. It is there, you don't have rights over it. Somehow I understand these people, but somehow I don't. If you are not a professional stock provider and your photography has a low quality, it's not OK to have rules over rules over your pictures. However, it's your right but it's still crpa, in my opinion! And I'm not talking about people like faestock or Maria Amanda who are stock providers by profession. But on the contrary! These two wonderful models allow you to use their work OUTSIDE deviantart, wherever you want. They also ask to credit them and ask for a small fee if you use their work for commercial purposes. But they are relaxed. They won't even sue you if you sell their stock, or use it in inapropiate ways.
I decided then to start using only free/unrestricted stock, I don't want to have problems.
Since I haven't spent much time here, Is anyone kind to help me and provide some free stock photographers/groupus/etc?
